Sandrine Holt is born Sandrine Ho on the 19th of November 1972, in London. Her birthplace was in London to a Chinese mother and a French father. From the age of 5 old, she has lived in Toronto Canada. She was a Parisian catwalk-model prior to her beginning a career as an actor. In the 1991 film Black Robe, she made her film debut as Annuka. The role she played in the film was recognized for her for the Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas & Dance with the Murderer, and guest appearances on Poltergeist The Uncanny Force & Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension followed. John Woo's The Thief saw her appear throughout the 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was then followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. The two films are available on DVDVHS. After playing a few smaller parts for her in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway as well as other films, she was offered her first major role in which she was a main character. Holt began her career with smaller guest roles and series roles. She was cast in 2013 as Hostages. took on the lead role of Hostages and was cast as a support character in Netflix's House of Cards. The actress played Julie Han in the US remake The Returned in 2015 and was cast in the role of Dr. Bethany Exner cast.
